STONE MOUNTAIN RV & CAMPER RENTALS – RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Agreement outlines the full terms and conditions between the Guest(s) (“RENTER”) and Stone Mountain RV & Camper Rentals LLC (“SMRV”). By signing this Agreement, the RENTER acknowledges and accepts these terms in full.
PAYMENT TERMS
1. RESERVATION TOTAL: The total is displayed in the booking page of this site and will be emailed to you post submission.
2. SECURITY DEPOSIT
– Required for all direct bookings.
– NOT part of your rental balance, rather it’s a temporary hold in case of extensive damages in alignment with the insurance option you selected.
– Amounts and instructions will be provided via email.
– Not applicable for third-party platform bookings (e.g., Outdoorsy, RVShare, RVnGO, RVezy, etc), which handle their own deposits.
3. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
– A minimum 10% initial payment is required to finalize your reservation.
– The final balance is due prior to arrival.
– Accepted payment methods: Invoices are sent and have links to pay via credit card. Fees may apply and will be at the responsibility of the customer. If you want to pay via Cash, Venmo, Business Check, ACH, or Wire Transfer, please notify in writing and must be approved in writing.
– Zelle is not accepted.
– If the reservation is under a holiday/event policy, instructions will be provided via email.
RENTAL TERMS
1. SITE REQUIREMENTS: RENTER must ensure the campsite is suitable for the size and maneuverability needs of the selected camper.
2. AGE & OCCUPANCY: RENTER must be at least 25 years old and will be present throughout the rental period.
3. RV SLEEPING CAPACITY: RENTER agrees to the stated occupancy limit unless written approval is granted by SMRV. Any guests above the occupancy limit will be subject to a $50 per person, per night charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY
– 61+ days before check-in: 80% refund of the Security Deposit and 100% refund of the total reservation cost.
– 31–60 days before check-in: 50% refund of the Security Deposit and 75% refund of the total reservation cost.
– 30 days or fewer: 0% refund of the Security Deposit and 50% refund of the total Reservation Cost
– 15 days or fewer: Both Security Deposit and Reservation Cost is non-refundable
– No refunds for inclement weather or holidays/events
– Written notice is required for cancellations
FORCE MAJEURE
In case of natural disaster or uncontrollable events (e.g., wildfires, floods, campground closure):
– No refunds will be issued
– RENTER may reschedule the reservation within the same calendar year at no extra charge
RENTAL INSURANCE
RENTER is 100% responsible for all damages during the rental period.
– RENTER is provided an insurance policy from SMRV. You’re responsible for the premium as written below as well as any deductible and other legal or enforceable charges SMRV can apply to ensure any claims are completed and agree to provide both the insurance company and SMRV with full cooperation during the claims process. This policy covers the amount you’ve selected as described below:
- Basic Coverage (Up to $500.00 in damages) for the premium amount of $85.00
- Advanced Coverage (Up to $1,000.00 in damages) for the premium amount of $160.00
- Premium Coverage (Up to $,1500.00 in damages) for the premium amount of $250.00
– It is advised to obtain rental insurance in addition to the selected insurance above. If uninsured, RENTER agrees to pay for all damages within 3 business days of invoice.
DAMAGES & CLAIMS
– The security deposit covers damage, theft, violations, or late check-out
– SMRV conducts post-rental inspections using photo documentation
– RENTER indemnifies SMRV from all claims arising from camper use
– Damage costs exceeding deposit may be charged to the credit card or invoiced
CLEANING
An email and/or text message will inform the RENTER of the details and terms of the cleaning requirements.
TANK DUMPING:
– SMRV charges a $100 fee for tank dumping
– RENTER must ensure hoses and equipment are returned in proper condition (if pickup)
NO SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit.
– $500 fee applies for violations
– Additional cleaning or damage fees may apply
PETS
Pets are not allowed unless written permission is provided by SMRV
– There is a nightly fee for each pet (ask SMRV for details) Base rate starts at $25 per night
– $500 fee applies for unauthorized pets
– Additional Cleaning or visible damage from pets will be billed post reservation
SUPPLIED ITEMS
SMRV provides standard supplies. Missing items will be charged up to $20 per item.
LATE CHECK-OUT
– Check-out is at 10:00 AM
– A 1-hour grace period is allowed if approved by SMRV in writing
– Any departure past 11am must be approved in writing (email or text)
– Up to a $50 fee (per half hour) may be charged for unapproved late departures
PROHIBITED USE
RENTER must disclose if attending a festival or restricted event.
– A $300 festival fee may apply
– Unauthorized use will result in additional charges
PHOTO INSPECTION
SMRV conducts and archives pre-check-in and post-checkout photos.
– Photo evidence governs damage and cleaning disputes
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION
Email and text messages are acceptable forms of written communication. Electronic signatures are valid and binding under this agreement.
THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS
Terms apply equally for third-party bookings except:
– Deposits and insurance are handled directly by the platform
HOLD HARMLESS & LIABILITY
SMRV is not liable for:
– Personal injury or property damage
– Loss due to natural events or supply interruptions
AWNING USE
RENTER may use the awning at their own risk
– RENTER is liable for damage due to improper or unattended use
LEGAL TERMS
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
– Jurisdiction: Greene County, Missouri
– In legal disputes, the prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney fees
– SMRV may terminate the Agreement immediately for any violations
NOTICES
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
